The Play That Goes Wrong 

February 1, 2026 - 2pm

It’s opening night for the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society’s production of the 1920s murder mystery Murder of Haversham Manor and from lights up the cast and crew are in an uphill battle to the final curtain. The set isn’t steady, and neither are the actors as they trip over their lines, set pieces and a murder victim who has a hard time playing dead. In this uproarious comedy, anything that can go wrong, absolutely will… with fantastic flair! 2015 London’s Olivier Award for Best New Comedy

The Tony® Award-winning Best Musical that took the world by storm is back. 

THE WIZ returns “home” to stages across America in an all-new tour, direct from Broadway. The Chicago Sun-Times proclaims THE WIZ is “An eye-popping and high-intensity revival!”

This groundbreaking twist on The Wizard of Oz changed the face of Broadway—from its iconic score packed with soul, gospel, rock, and 70s funk to its stirring tale of Dorothy’s journey to find her place in a contemporary world. With direction by Schele Williams (The Notebook, revival of Disney’s Aida), choreography by JaQuel Knight (Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” Black Is King) and additional material by Tony-nominated and Emmy-nominated writer and TV host Amber Ruffin (The Amber Ruffin Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers), this dynamite infusion of ballet, jazz, and modern pop brings a whole new groove to easing on down the road.  Everybody rejoice!

The Mastery of the Spiritual

Renowned baritone Robert Sims gathers well-known vocalists for a powerful program highlighting the history of the Spiritual and its influence over American musical genres of all types. This stirring production is sure to enrich the mind, touch the heart, and inspire the soul.

Artists Repertory Theater

A daughter and father embark on a shapeshifting road trip across the country. They fill their time doing regular father-daughter things: playing palindromic word games (r-a-c-e-c-a-r), digging up the past, picking up questionable hitchhikers, racing through the gelatinous landscape of their shared nightmares… So fun!
Portland-raised Kallan Dana’s Racecar Racecar Racecar is a tightly crafted, Lynchian thriller that dives into the complexities of memory, family, and the ties that bind — for better or for worse. Everything is great!


The Notebook 

March 13, 2026 - 7:30pm

Based on the best-selling novel that inspired the iconic film, The Notebook tells the story of Allie and Noah, both from different worlds, who share a lifetime of love despite the forces that threaten to pull them apart. “Full of butterfly-inducing highs and beautiful songs” (Entertainment Weekly), The Notebook is a deeply moving portrait of the enduring power of love. Chris Jones of The Chicago Tribune says The Notebook is “absolutely gorgeous, not to be missed,” and The New York Daily News calls it “a love story for the ages.” The Notebook is directed by Michael Greif (Dear Evan Hansen, Next to Normal, RENT) and Schele Williams (The Wiz, Aida), and features music and lyrics by multi-platinum singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson, book by Bekah Brunstetter (NBC’s “This Is Us”), and choreography by Katie Spelman.

Portland Opera - The Newmark Theatre

A powerful and deeply moving historic snapshot, Fellow Travelers is set amidst the Lavender Scare of midcentury McCarthyism, when persecution of LGBTQ+ people within the Federal government was rampant. This modern lyric opera is about the bravery it takes to be one’s authentic self, even when society demands secrecy and silence.  

With the Portland Opera Orchestra Developed and co-commissioned by G. Sterling Zinsmeyer and Cincinnati Opera. Premiered by Cincinnati Opera on June 17, 2016, at the Jason-Kaplan Theater, Aronoff Center for the Arts, Cincinnati.

When another survivor warns him that the dragons may be returning, Trevor must decide if he has the courage to save the world … and his first date. This brand-new production of a PNW cult hit, filled with local talent, offers up an exuberant, electrifying, joyful coming-of-age musical that proves we’re all superheroes; sometimes, to change the world, all we need is to access our inner superpowers and get a little help from our friends!

Apple Hunters

Get the boys together, we’re going on a quest! It’s been a hard year for Eddie, so he revives the old gang (his big brother and two childhood friends) and ropes them into an adventure to find a long-lost variety of apple once grown in their childhood stomping grounds. Amid the blur of chores, kids’ soccer practice, and the relentless daily grind, the guys embark on a quest for a legendary golden apple — only to find something much more valuable.
Mellon Foundation Playwright-in-Residence E.M. Lewis wraps up her 6-year residency at Artists Rep with Apple Hunters!, a funny and heartfelt story of men, friendship, and the power of showing up for each other.
